Our stay at the Mayan Palace

We arrived at the beautiful Mayan Palace for the first time and the first thing that they did after we were registered was to set up an appointment for the time share. We’ve been to time share presentations before but not like this. Forget all of the freebees that they offer you. It is not worth the time spent. They said it would like to give us a ninety minute presentation on their facilities. Five hours later they they are still trying to pressure you into buying a unit. First the saleman, then his boss and when you say NO they bring in the the manager. The manager that we had was like a High Pressure Used Car Salesman. Trying every way and switching around numbers until you were no sure what you were buying. when they started the presentation they said that you were under no obligation to buy but the pressure is there to buy.

The Mayan Palace is a wonderful place to vacation. The staff, other that the ones mention above, was 5 star. The facilities are excellent. We may go back there again because of the good time that we had But we will avoid the presentation. Just say no thank you.
