Nice but not great!

Upon arrival the Airport timeshare folks are on you like fly’s on [–]. Stay away and go directly out to the curb and get your own taxi. Its a quick ride should only cost about $5.00-$8.00. I read several reviews before I booked so I knew what to expect. We prefered a balcony room with seating. This is at the main building only. You must ask for it in advance which I did, I called the hotel a few days before arrival and hooked this up. Or else you will get booked in the building by the pool and it only has stand up balcony’s.
The resort itself is good very well kept and the staff are excellent. Visit Francisco in the Gym he is really nice and will even give you tips on places to see while in town. I dont think I will ever visit in the summer again the weather is very hot and humid!!! They tell me winter and spring are the times to go.
Im Mexican myself and I have to say I thought the food was horrible. I tried just about every place in town and the Marina and I was not impressed by the food. I think Cabo has much better places to dine. If your new to Mexican travel then this place will suit your needs lots of touristy spots and shops. But in you want old school mexican flavor stay with Cabo. The Playa Grande Resort in Cabo is a must stay!
