Great place, would return in a minute

SKEPTICS!!!! Read this review!

I read plenty of reviews before I left on my trip, several talked about the hotel, too far to walk, time share trap, crappy beach, ect. I’m here to set things straight. These people would complain about anything, trust me!

The area is excellent, the marina is very close and has many shops selling things the vendors do and more and tons of great places to eat, $7 to $15 per meal and they will let you splitt.
Going down town is a breese, did it 4 times, take the buss that says CENTRO to go down town and MARINA to return. It’s that easy, 50 cents!!!

Time share people? yea there around every corner, but they were VERY rarely a problem, NEVER a problem at the hotel. Just say no, or “did one already” and keep walking. If you let it ruin your trip, you should have stayed home. often I joked with them and bugged then back, made a game out of it! It made for a good laugh. Either way, don’t worry about it at all!

The hotel and beach. The hotel is very nice, cleen and just easy on the eyes. The beach is just fine, yes there are better, but there are worse too. You can walk as far as you want to the north away from the marina enterance. High tide makes it kinda tough in the morning, but later in the day you could walk forever. Swimming was good and the surf varied from day to day.

The rooms are cleen and nice. The main building has balconies that are usable, the other building there used just for standing on. We were in the main building by the street and really liked it. The walk from there to the beach or pool is a little longer, 1 to 3 minutes, big deal, NOT!!!! most people need the exercise! Besides it’s pretty!

Eat at Victors and El College, both in the marina, both with great food and free tequila!!! Food and boose are across the street from the hotel and money is exchanged by the marina.

I give it a 9 out of 10. I’m a mormal, well rounded, person that has no problem complaining, but this place is worth the stay.
The marina area is terrific! Don’t worry about it a bit!!!

Also, we felt very safe!
